Salford University chooses Inva StairRiser
The University of Salford is one of Manchester’s leading universities situated just a mile and a half from Manchester City Centre. The campus is at the heart of a £650m pound regeneration scheme transforming the environment. As an existing client of ours, we were recently asked to survey and recommend a solution to provide access for less abled people up an open tread wooden staircase to a toilet area.
Our Inva StairRiser platform lift provided the ideal solution. It’s a high quality stair platform lift which can safely carry wheelchairs and users on both straight and curved staircases. It’s probably the slimmest unit on the market, and folds neatly against the wall when not in use. It’s also very reliable providing peace of mind for both user and the university.
The client first modified and strengthened the existing staircase, and we were then able to fit the Inva StairRiser over just a few days with minimal disruption to the area. University surveyor, Darren Kibble reported that “we are more than happy with the quality of the lift, the installation and service provided.”
