New Platform Lift for Grindleton Pavilion
Grindleton Pavilion is a beautiful, purpose built facility, constructed from natural materials and recycled oak beams, designed to enhance the quality of life in the rural community. As part of the design, the meeting hall on the first floor required a platform lift to travel 2.6 metres to enable access to less abled members of the community.
Construction experts, ‘John Moore & Sons Builders’ had worked with Invalifts before, and were aware of the highly energy efficient MC2000 Platform lift. After consultation with our team of expert engineers, they concluded that this platform lift would be a perfect match for the light and spacious interior of the Pavilion, and fully glazed doors were specified to enhance this impression of space.
Invalifts supplied and fitted the MC2000 platform lift in just a few days, right on schedule for the grand opening of the facility in November 2012. Andrea of ‘John Moore and Sons’ was delighted with the lift, and had this to say about working with Invalifts; “on both occasions we have worked with Invalifts, the work has been carried out professionally and efficiently. From the outset to completion a fantastic job.”
