Rutherford Appleton Laboratory gets a CargoMaster Goods Lift
The Client was looking for a high quality robust goods lift to enable lifting of heavy equipment between two floors, but didn't want to either build a conventional lift shaft or break into the sealed concrete floor. Their specifiers contacted Midlands-based lift specialist, Invalifts, who were able to supply and fit the CargoMaster, a British built high quality, self contained goods lift supplied complete with its own galvanised, self supporting, metal clad shaft. The CargoMaster was an especially good choice for this application, as the lift is designed to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC which means that no pit is required, just a ramp of 90mm high. Invalifts were able to quickly install the lift in just a week, with minimum disruption, including installation of a fabricated pump room. The lift was also designed to allow assisted disabled access.
Invalifts is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of powered access equipment and has installed hundreds of platform, passenger and goods lifts in schools, libraries, churches, night clubs, leisure centres and commercial buildings. The company prides itself on providing great Customer service, and products, tailored to meet the Customers requirements.
