MC2000 Platform Lift

Overview of the MC2000 Platform Lift

MC2000 is widely recognised as the premier Platform Lift available on today’s market, with its unique twin guided chain drive system ensuring a top quality performance that is synonymous with Scandinavian engineering. The drive system allows the enclosure to be glazed to all 4 sides which aesthetically gives the MC2000 a major advantage over other Platform Lifts. In addition to the fully glazed arrangement the self-supporting enclosure is also available in both solid and partially glazed varieties, all of which will enhance the value of any building.

24 Month Warranty

Being an extremely flexible product the MC2000 can be configured to resolve issues with the most awkward building arrangements, whilst at the same time occupying the least space of any Platform Lift complying with the Building Regulations Part M maximum size requirement of a 1400mm x 1100mm platform. All of the controls have been designed to give less able persons including the visually impaired, easy use, therefore most people will have no problems when using the lift.

Reliability, user comfort, safety and ease of maintenance have been of prime importance in the design of the MC2000, making it the high quality product with a low ownership cost into the future.
MC2000 is suitable for some external applications.

The key to its reliability – the Guided Chain

At the heart of the MC2000 is the patented Guided Chain drive system.

It’s safe. As the chain is confined to a track along its whole length, it can never derail. Even if the chain should break, the drive system will still bring the platform to a totally safe position. (Actually, to date, a Guided Chain has never broken!)

It’s doubly safe. In normal operation, the Guided Chain pulls the car, but in the unlikely event of the chain breaking, the car will be parked standing on the chain, and thus in a completely safe position.

It’s reliable, due to the robust construction of the Guided Chain, which will last for at least 25 years with the minimum of maintenance.

It’s economical in use, thanks to its low power consumption, low fuse requirements, and low maintenance needs.

It’s environment-friendly. During installation the gearing mechanism is lifetime-greased. This means no messy oil leaks, no need to change the oil, and therefore no waste oil to dispose of.
